Girl From Anson. The famous leaning tower (left) of Teluk Intan was surrounded
by white tents when I arrived. A walk around the town formerly known as Telok
Anson yielded a more interesting image (above).
Many of the the old shops
in this flood-prone and sinking town are barricaded with concrete dykes. Look
out also for the many agriculture and hardware shops selling unusual rattan products.
