When
umbrellas go up, so should your camera.
Wet roads make beautiful images at night.
Story: Pump
prime your sensor
A little effort is required though.
An ISO 400 setting (left) almost 'stopped'
the traffic and resulted in a very ordinary
shot. Dropping it to a less sensitive
ISO 50 and manually selecting a smaller
aperture, forced a long exposure. The
road was transformed into a magical
river of flowing lava.
I shot from an overhead pedestrian bridge.
The reckless jaywalkers and lane-switching
drivers enhanced the picture, ironically.
