There
I was looking at some kids splashing
inside a fountain at a mall. In the
concrete jungles of Singapore, a simple
little fountain offers kids, adults
and shutterbugs endless fascination.
All the ingredients were there; kids,
water and bright sunlight. But how do
I crystalise these into a nice picture?
Story: Crystalising
my thoughts
Since there was plenty of light,
I set the camera in T (time or shutter)
priority mode and chose a very fast
shutter speed. It froze and crystalised
the water droplets and created a picture
very different from that taken with
a normal setting. The bigger challenge
was anticipating the random spurts and
framing-out onlookers in the background.
