The scenic old route from Gombak to Bentong offers a
treasure trove of subjects for shutterbugs. This forgotten road was once the only
central passage to the East coast. Beginning high above the Karak Highway, it
passes through numerous waterfalls, quaint little towns, Orang Asli settlements
and even a coniferous forest...

Stop. The shady cool stream at the Jungle Lodge in Gombak. A darting neon
blue-winged dragonfly appeared impossible to capture or even focus at first. Patience
and tricky prediction of its flight path paid off in the end. ISO 400, f4,
