This Thaipusam, I joined thousands of Hindus
in their annual pilgrimage to Batu Caves.
While the devotees and penitents carry kavadis
and milk pots, I carried my camera. Here's
a selection of pics from this spectacular
and dramatic festival...

also signifies the purification of
