The
Malaysian traveling fun fair is a hodgepodge
of squeaky rides
surrounded by a rusty zinc fence. It
has fascinated me ever since I was a
child and continues to do so. The explosion
of colours is irresistible to anyone
with a camera.
Story: Bringing
the right accessory.
I stumbled onto this fairground in Danau
Kota, and was pleased that the sky was
still bluish (left). Unfortunately at
that hour the Ferris wheel and other
rides were stationery as there were
no customers around. It was then that
I realized I was without one important
accessory. Family members or some friends
to help get the rides started earlier.
Tip: Select a shutter speed slower than
1 second to generate the interesting
light trails.
