Road
tunnels make great subjects but are
dangerous and often illegal to wander
inside by foot. Malaysian drivers approach
this narrow underpass without any reduction
in speed, leaving tell-tale collision
scars on the walls and long streaks
of lights for the camera.

The overhead sodium lights produced
a strong and monotonous orange cast
with standard white balance (left).
Custom white balance, with the help
of the LCD screen, resulted in a more
pleasing look, fleshing out the various
colours, shades and textures.
