Morning
sun casting interesting shadows on the
glass panes. A straight-forward shot
in Auto mode, self-fired the
flash and resulted in a washed-out picture
(left). So how does one capture the
ambience?
Story: Drive a
manual.
Switching over to manual exposure and
white balance produced a better picture
but it came with a different set of
problems. A tripod was required as the
effective shutter speed was too slow
and the brighter top half was overexposing.
A Cokin neutral graduated filter
solved that but introduced a pinkish
cast that was later removed by desaturating
the affected area.
