LANTERN LUCK

Lanterns

Flashed
Lantern Festival procession along the Taipan area. Another example of the totally different atmosphere captured using flash (left) and without (above).

Story: Slowly but surely.
Picking the right shutter speed is tricky. A one second exposure seemed to be just right in this particular situation. It blurred the lanterns in motion but was 'fast' enough to 'freeze' the family stopping in front of the camera. Plenty of luck and patience required for the perfect visual combination of stationery and moving objects.
