Self-assignment: To create a Mooncake
Festival picture greeting card. The
tough part: Finding a happy family in
a fast-moving lantern procession (left).
After acquiring this main ingredient,
it was time to bake...
Recipe:
Duplicate the background layer before
starting.
Apply Photostat filter and invert
colours of background layer.
Cut out all other elements on duplicate
layer except lanterns.
Apply selective softening and hue adjustment.
Blend layers with Difference
mode at 28% opacity.
Serve hot.
