RAINY RAMADHAN

This year's Ramadhan coincides with
the rainy season. Rain and the festive
lighting transformed the National Mosque
in Kuala Lumpur into a wonderful but
challenging photo opportunity. View
more Ramadhan pics here.
Story: "Raindrops keep falling
on my lens...
But there's one thing,
I know. The blues they sent to greet
me won't defeat me... " goes
the evergreen song by BJ Thomas. After
struggling with an umbrella in one hand
and wiping the lens every few seconds
with the other, I decided to let the
raindrops become part of the picture.
Earlier, before getting drenched, I
waited (in the car) for the road to
become sufficiently wet and shiny. Minutes
after, I was racing against time as
the bluish sky was fast fading into
black (left).
