No
divine drawing
in the sky this time, just a natural
phenomenon over Gurney Road at 7 pm
just now.
Story: Somewhere
under the rainbow
When I caught this unexpected
rainbow overhead, I made a frantic dash
to the car to get a wider lens. Fortunately,
I was at an open area without much trees
or buildings. While the E-1 body and
the wide angle lens are usefully splash
proof, raindrops kept accumulating on
the front element as I pointed the camera
upwards. In between rapid dabs with
tissue, I fired off a series exposures
manually bracketed from +0.5 to -1 EV.
The beautiful arch bowed out in less
than 5 minutes.
If you look carefully, you can see the
secondary rainbow above with reversed
sequence of colours (enhanced close-up
shown on left pic).
