THE OTHER SIDE OF MIDNIGHT

A certain spot along the deserted Ampang-Hulu Langat road remains a great place to chill out with friends or even strangers. Beautiful KL and her labyrinth suburbs always appear magical and serene from this secluded peak. Last night she looked even better. There was little haze.

As I climbed back down to the car for the tripod and camera, I realized the cityscape would soon change. Setting multiple long exposures in pitch darkness is complicated enough. I was racing against time. The lights on the three landmark towers are timed to switch off at midnight...
