My Tripod

I decided to take a night stroll in the mist, after attending the Malaysian Idol Finals at Genting Highlands. As the clouds around me vanished momentarily, I was presented with this enchanting but fleeting aerial view of Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley. Stars could even be seen above the cloud cover.

Story: All that glitter, is so cold...
Without a tripod, the top of a fence pole acted as support for the camera (left). Nevertheless, a 13-second exposure without a tripod is always tricky in dark, damp and chilly surroundings. In this case, the end result was well worth the trouble.
