For
nine days Hindus around the world celebrate
Navarathri, the worship of the three
goddesses: Shakti, Lakshmi and Saraswathi
who represent courage, wealth and knowledge
respectively. The Temple of Fine Arts
in Kuala Lumpur staged a series of performances
in celebration.
Story: A sculptural
pose

Bharathanatyam is an unique blend of
eyes, emotions, expressions and gestures.
An irresistible but challenging subject
for the camera. To isolate the main
subject, I used selective focus with
the surrounding dancers acting as a
'frame'.
