SP 550
Tired of seeing fireworks against a black sky, I tried this one-minute exposure. Some form of 'dark noise subtraction' kicked in arbitrarily in bulb mode. It reduced thermal noise caused by the heated sensor and electronics during the prolonged exposure. The white streak across the lake was a boat speeding across with giant sparklers. The month-long fireworks display around the Eye On Malaysia (Ferris Wheel) is held in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2007.

  SP 550
Surreal. An 11-second exposure with the moon and the Petronas Twin Towers lighting up the 11pm night sky. The SP 550 functioned almost like a dSLR with full manual control when required.
