SP 550
Curiosity kills the auto-focus. The twitching head of this curious bird almost drove the AF crazy. The narrow depth-of-field of the telephoto end helped isolate the bird from the distracting background.

  SP 550
Tiny ant on a chlorophyll diet. This shot posed a number of challenges. The leaf was swaying in the wind, depth-of-field was extremely shallow and the shadow from the tip of lens was creeping in as I got too close. The macro capability of the SP 550 is as mind blowing as its ultra zoom.
