Olympus SP-550UZ Field Test Part 9

SP 550
  Crying. A dead and dried-up tree formed an ironic backdrop. The default iESP auto focus was unable to lock on to the glass. I switched to Spot Focus which worked quite well. The image is already monochromatic without de-saturation.

  Gloomy weather is no reason to put a good camera down. Taking advantage of the long zoom, I shot this from the top of a building. The arrows created an unusual graphical composition while the jay-walkers added the element of motion and a dash of colours. Exposure was dialed down -1.3 EV as the metering was overcompensating for the sizable black area.
